The climate crisis is manifesting in the form of rapid changes in the global average temperature, and the increasingly severe extreme weather events are accelerating. Now, carbon neutrality is an irreversible trend of our times, and it is time to collaborate and accelerate climate action.

As the chair of the Under2 Coalition in the Asia-Pacific region, Chungcheongnam-do, together with the Climate Group, aims to strengthen solidarity and cooperation among local governments under the theme of “Accelerating Climate Action : Local Climate Leadership and Global Partnership.”

The conference also seeks to explore specific climate action directions in collaboration with central governments, businesses, academia, and other stakeholders.
